The Saleh Abdullah Kamel Humanitarian Foundation (SAKHF) proudly took part in the seventh-round table meeting for civil society organizations, hosted by Alwaleed Philanthropies Foundation in Riyadh. This significant gathering focused on discussing executive and participatory initiatives aimed at enhancing the developmental role of the non-profit sector.

The event brought together prominent leaders, experts, and representatives from various civil society organizations, all united by a common goal: to advance the impact and reach of the non-profit sector in driving sustainable development.

For his part, the CEO of the Foundation, Hammam Zarei, highlighted the commitment to fostering partnerships that amplify the impact of humanitarian efforts. “Our participation in this round table meeting aligns with our mission to support initiatives that contribute to the well-being and development of communities. We believe that through collaboration and strategic planning, we can achieve greater results and leading to contributing to achieving the goals of the United Nations Sustainable Development Plan for the year 2030, such as eliminating poverty, hunger, good health and well-being, quality education, decent work, economic growth, and sustainable cities and communities.

Zarei added: “Our work extends to contributing to achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by enabling a full and healthy life, increasing employment rates, and enabling social responsibility,” stressing that the Foundation will continue to fulfill its mission during the current year 2024 for the good of humanity and community development.

It is noteworthy that the Saleh Abdullah Kamel Humanitarian Foundation has set three strategic goals, which are to support social solidarity by improving the quality of life of the elderly and the blind, and to contribute to meeting the needs of society, and the second goal is to revive the Arabic language, by enriching the Arabic digital content, and this was evident in the contribution to Endowing the language of the Holy Qur’an in cooperation with King Abdulaziz University, and the third goal is to reconstruct the country, employ the people, contribute to developing the knowledge content of the Islamic economy through the annual Al Baraka symposium, and develop the competencies of workers in religious tourism in the holy places.
