I pray for Allah to make me better than what people think, and forgive me for what they do not know

Letter from the Chairman

The Saleh Abdullah Kamel Humanitarian Foundation (SAKHF) takes its inspiration from the personality and noble mission of its founder and his philosophy of life namely, the development of humanity.

Sheikh Saleh frequently referred to the Hadith of the Prophet Mohammed to illustrate the importance of seizing the moment when trying to build a better world, which is essentially the goal of the Foundation. In a world of changing interests, needs and challenges, it remains constant in its aims to deepen the spirit of solidarity among all people, while keeping pace with that change – building integrated partnerships that pave the way to greater balance, sustainability and integrity within society.

Abdullah Saleh Kamel

Legacy of the Founder | The Vision

The founder, Saleh Abdullah Kamel, strongly believed that Islam provided the perfect blueprint for life. He was convinced a society that fully embraced Islamic values would become an economically superior one, with social interdependency leading to tolerance and comfortable co-existence alongside other religions and societies of the world.

He believed that honoring one’s parents and working hard, while behaving charitably and with integrity, were the keystones to achieving this harmony. Saleh Kamel spent his life trying to encourage the development of such a society and it is this message the Saleh Abdullah Kamel Foundation Humanitarian Foundation will take forward into the future.
