Saleh Abdullah Kamel Humanitarian Foundation Honored at “Ihsan” Ceremony”

January 28, 2024, corresponding to Rajab 16, 1445 AH

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the National Platform for Charitable Work “Ihsan” organized its third annual benefactors’ honor ceremony. During the event, the Governor of Riyadh honored the Saleh Abdullah Kamel Humanitarian Foundation as a diamond-tier benefactor.

The ceremony, held to celebrate the generosity of benefactors, is part of the support for charitable work provided by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince. This support aims to empower and advance the charitable sector. The event also showcased the positive impacts and results of the contributions made by benefactors, which have significantly improved the lives of beneficiaries across various charitable and developmental fields in the Kingdom.

The ceremony included the launch of new programs and services featuring digital solutions designed to simplify the donation process, ensuring donations reach those in need easily and efficiently. These initiatives aim to provide the best donation experience, while also highlighting updates on charitable projects funded by benefactors to enhance reliability and transparency.

This event aligns with the National Platform for Charitable Work’s commitment to fostering initiatives that promote social responsibility, encourage solidarity, and support charitable activities. Since its launch, the platform has benefited more than 4.8 million individuals, thanks to the generosity of benefactors.

“Ihsan” aims, through its charitable and awareness campaigns, to promote a culture of donation and community solidarity in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. It supports community projects and humanitarian cases, enabling society to donate through reliable official channels. As the leading platform for trusted donations, “Ihsan” ensures transparency for donors and maintains constant readiness to encourage charitable giving at all times.

The Saleh Abdullah Kamel Humanitarian Foundation has set three strategic goals: supporting social solidarity by improving the quality of life for the elderly and the visually impaired, and meeting community needs; reviving the Arabic language by enriching Arabic digital content, exemplified by the endowment of the Quranic language in collaboration with King Abdulaziz University; and contributing to national development and employment, as well as advancing the knowledge content of Islamic economics through the annual Al Baraka Symposium and developing the skills of those working in religious tourism at sacred sites.
