Based on the principle of strategic partnership to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 plan, Dr. Abdel Fattah bin Suleiman Mashat, Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, signed an agreement with Abdullah Saleh Kamel, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Saleh Abdullah Kamel Humanitarian Foundation with the aim training and qualifying recruits to work in the Hajj and Umrah sectors. The agreement was signed in the presence of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal bin Abdul Aziz, Governor of Makkah Region, and Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, Minister of Hajj and Umrah.
The signing of this agreement, which bears the name “Saleh Kamel Program for Qualifying Workers in Hajj and Umrah” will facilitating the hosting of pilgrims to the Two Holy Mosques, providing them with the best services to enrich their religious and cultural experience during their stay. More than 30 million pilgrims visit the Kingdom annually.
The agreement aims to develop the skills of receiving, welcoming and guiding pilgrims during their stay in Saudi Arabia. Recruits to the program will be trained in accordance with the best international standards, in the context of the Kingdom’s endeavor to create a transformative spiritual experience for all pilgrims.
Abdullah Kamel stressed the importance of the agreement, which will raise the level of services provided to internationally recognized standards, reflecting the position of the Kingdom, which places the service of the Two Holy Mosques at the forefront of its priorities, and constantly works to provide Saudi youth with the experience and knowledge to hone their skills in serving the pilgrims.
